Beltug and Cybersec Europe join forces: "We want to inspire and increase awareness about cyber security"
Beltug, the Belgian association of CIOs and digital technology leaders, and Cybersec Europe join forces to facilitate knowledge sharing on the subject of cyber security in Europe.

Inspire and increase cyber security awareness

Cybersec Europe and Beltug aim to facilitate knowledge sharing on the subject of cyber security, enhance cyber resilience, fight cybercrime and boost innovation to make Europe a safer, more open and secure cyber space. Danielle Jacobs, CEO of Beltug: “Security is always a priority of Beltug members, and thus plays an important part in Beltug’s activities. The increase and acceleration of digitisation, however, continually results in new cyber threats to companies and individuals alike. Cyber security therefore always offers new learning points and interesting elements to share.”

With over 1,800 members from 490+ companies, Beltug is the Belgian association of CIOs and leaders in digital technology from different economic sectors and the government. They defend the interests of their members and facilitate the exchange of knowledge between their members. Every year they organize more than 40 events to exchange experiences and questions. “Beltug is pleased to collaborate and contribute to a content-rich program, by putting forward speakers who have inspired the Beltug community. As part of our commitment to promoting security and awareness, and to further our role, we have partnered with Cybersec Europe. We are convinced that our two organisations share a willingness to inspire and increase awareness. Last but not least, Belgium hosts some of the key EU institutions, so Beltug finds the fair’s European perspectives to be an additional strong element of Cybersec Europe”, says Danielle Jacobs.
