What is a Capture the Flag competition?
A Capture the Flag (CTF) competition is a gamified cybersecurity challenge where participants solve hacking-related puzzles to uncover hidden pieces of information called flags. Each captured flag earns points for your team. The more flags you capture, the higher you climb on the scoreboard. The teams with the highest scores at the end of the competition will be crowned the winners.
What to expect
During this competition you’ll face a series of technical challenges designed to simulate real-world cybersecurity situations. Participants will need to analyse vulnerabilities, exploit systems, and investigate clues to capture the hidden flags. It will be an individual challenge. There is no need to find a team. The CTF offers a great opportunity to test your technical skills and learn from others in the cybersecurity community.
